Taipei, Taiwan (16th March, 2015) — ASUS today announced TUF Sabertooth X99, the world’s first consumer desktop motherboard to support all NVM Express^™ storage devices, including PCI Express^® (PCIe^®), M.2 PCI Express^® and the latest 2.5-inch solid-state drives (SSDs) with SFF-8639 via the mini SAS HD connector on the Hyper Kit[1] expansion card. With built-in USB 3.1, TUF Sabertooth X99 maximizes choice for ultra-high-speed transfer options speeds, handing users total flexibility.
TUF’s newest motherboard additionally introduces all-new and exclusive TUF Detective technology that displays live system information on smartphones and tablets, right at users’ fingertips.

All-new TUF Detective

TUF Sabertooth X99 is the first TUF motherboard to include TUF Detective, a free companion app that puts detailed system information at users’ fingertips. With the intuitive app installed on a smartphone or tablet, users are able to monitor key parameters, detect and diagnose errors and control the PC’s power status with touchscreen ease. The PC doesn’t even need to be switched on for the app to be useful.

TUF Sabertooth X99 is engineered to stay cool. TUF Thermal Armor technology is an exclusive cover with a fan to boost airflow across the system for maximum heat dissipation. The latest edition of TUF’s easy-to-use Thermal Radar 2 software enables users to control up to 11 fan connectors, as well as manage fans attached to ASUS graphic cards. This makes quick work of fan tuning for complete system cooling, enabling users to enjoy the perfect balance between quietness, cooling and performance.
TUF Sabertooth X99 also has an onboard TUF ICe microchip, a total cooling commander that delivers incredibly precise temperature monitoring and fan control.
 

Server-grade stability with tested reliability and durable design

TUF Sabertooth X99 offers superior strength, with server-grade stability and reliability and design that’s durable throughout.
TUF Sabertooth X99 includes upgraded TUF ESD Guards 2 which is two times (2X) stronger than before to defend numerous ports against sudden electrostatic discharge, including all USB sockets and audio connectors — and exclusive pin-level testing on specific rear input-output (I/O) connectors[2] is 30% higher than the previous TUF standard.
Exclusive TUF Fortifier technology is a reinforced backplate with a thermal pad that both strengthens the motherboard and efficiently directs heat away from the back of the 8+2-phase Digi+ voltage-regulator module (VRM) and other critical components — an innovation that reduces operating temperatures by up to 6°C.
TUF Components ensure that TUF Sabertooth X99 is tough enough for the most demanding situations. TUF Detective

An exclusive, all-new technology displays live system information on your smartphones and tablets, without even switching on the PC. Plug in your Android smartphone via the dedicated USB port on the rear IO. It can remotely turn on, restart, clear CMOS, view voltages and live system clock speeds.

TUF ESD Guards 2

This second generation ESD Guards is two times (2X) stronger than before, defending the numerous rear IO ports against sudden electrostatic discharge when things are plugged in; including all USB sockets and audio connectors. This time the TUF team do exclusive pin-level testing and have made the resistance 30% higher than the previous TUF standard.

TUF ICe & Thermal Radar 2

TUF ICe is a hardware IC that controls the 11 fan speeds and monitors 12 sensor across the board, providing 100% coverage. Because it’s hardware driven it has a 1 second response regardless of system load and status, so even in the middle of a game or any other intensive task you can always adjust the controls. TUF ICe works with Thermal Radar 2 function, and fans can all be DC or PWM and with its fan-learning function they can even be tuned to completely turn off when you think the system is cool enough. As a bonus, even ASUS, Strix and ROG graphics card fans can be controlled!

TUF Fortifier & Military Grade CPU VRMs

The Fortifier is thermally attached to the rear of the CPU VRMs, acting as a large heatsink to reduce their temps up to 6ºC. While on the front side the CPU is powered by new Alloy Chokes with greater surface area, low RDSon MOSFETs and TUF 10K Ti-Caps.

Sûrement pour en air cooling les cartes vont respirer plus, c'est pas une carte pour overclocker donc les êxtrême ont d'autre choix ^^. Genre si ta deux carte watercooler au AIO cela peux être pratique .

peut etre que ont peut en metre 3 GPU sur ce board mais coter esthetique ont repassera et tu me connais , cest important

Ouais mais bon ce board la c'est fait pour la stabilité point finale, en tout cas quand c'est sortie sur X58 c'était pour cela. Aucun autre jeux de puce qui peux entrer en conflit, seulement que ce que le X99 offres, je l'aimais bien pour cela. De toute facons Snef, cela m'étonnerais que tu commence un Build Brun/Noir un jour .

non mais tout se peinture, jai un haut pourcentage de Gryphon/Sabertooth dans mes build, et jen commence un autre avec un Sabertooth Mark S, ( Sabranco )

mais en fait, justement je voulais un X99 avec armor pour la peinturer, mais , pour moi, je ne vois aucun avantage a payer pour ce board vs un sabertooth Z97

moi en se moment jai un X99-deluxe, si ce board aurait un layout PCIE de X99 come le deluxe (3 GPU a distance eguale)

Ok car EK ne font pas de Bridge Plexi-Clear 4 Way ? Tu peux toujours prendre 2* 2 Way et les racorder au centre avec un tube ?
